Left Yosemite early in the morning heading to Sequoia National Park. When I got there part of the mountain road that was built in the 1930's was being repaired, so only one lane was open. This meant every half hour they would escort a convoy of 30 to 50 cars out of the park while cars wanting to get in would line up, park and wait for the next caravan to escorted them in. Wasted about an hour, but I was second in line and met the Ranger and before others arrived. He talked about the paralyzed tarantula he had found, and wanted to know about my climb to Yosemite Falls.
